Course Update Policy
Ag Tax University is committed to maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of all instructional materials. Each course undergoes periodic review and update based on changes in relevant laws, participant feedback, reviewer recommendations, and scheduled compliance review cycles. No course will be offered to participants if it is outdated or inconsistent with current professional practices.
Learning Objective Policy
Ag Tax University requires every CPE course, regardless of delivery method, to include at least three (3) measurable learning objectives that:
• Describe the specific knowledge or skills participants will gain.
• Align with the course’s program level, field of study, and intended audience.
• Are measurable and observable (describe what the participant will be able to do).
• Serve as the foundation for the content outline, instructional activities, and assessment questions.
Learning objectives must be included in both the program documentation and promotional materials provided to participants.
General Policy Statement
Ag Tax University strives to provide reliable, timely, and high-quality educational programs. However, circumstances may occasionally require modification or cancellation of a scheduled program due to factors beyond reasonable control, such as low enrollment, instructor unavailability, technical issues, or emergencies. When a program must be canceled, postponed, or rescheduled, Ag Tax University will make every effort to notify all registered participants as soon as possible, offer alternative options, and minimize participant inconvenience.
Attendance Monitoring Policy
The webinar platform tracks participant presence throughout the entire session, including login and logout times, total duration of attendance, and any disconnections or reconnects. Attendance reports are generated automatically at the conclusion of each session. Participants who log off early or are disconnected for more than five minutes will not receive full credit unless a valid reason is documented and approved by the Program Administrator.
Qualified Assessment Grading Policy
Each self-study course concludes with a qualified assessment designed to evaluate the participant’s comprehension of the course material and its stated learning objectives. Assessments consist of multiple-choice or true/false questions, developed in alignment with NASBA Standard No. 14 and reviewed by a qualified subject matter expert for accuracy, clarity, and relevance.
Passing Score Requirement
Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the qualified assessment to successfully complete the course and earn CPE credit. Each question is weighted equally, and scores are calculated automatically by the Learning Management System (LMS) or through manual grading if administered offline. Partial credit is not awarded.
Participant Notification of Results
Upon completion of the assessment, participants are immediately notified of their score if the assessment is completed within the LMS. For manually graded assessments, participants receive an email notification within three (3) business days of submission. Participants who achieve a passing score of 70% or higher automatically receive a Certificate of Completion. Those who do not meet the passing threshold are provided their score and instructions for a retake attempt.
Retake Policy
Participants who do not achieve a passing score on the first attempt are permitted one retake without additional charge. Retake attempts may include a randomized or alternate set of questions to maintain assessment integrity. If a participant fails the second attempt, they must re-register for the course before making another attempt. All assessment attempts and scores are recorded and retained for a minimum of five (5) years in accordance with NASBA Standard No. 24.
Record Retention Policy
Ag Tax University will retain all required records for a minimum of five (5) years from the end of the year in which the program was last offered. This retention period aligns with NASBA Standard No. 24 of the Statement on Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs.
